The Electrical and Computer
Engineering Department was a pioneer in
distance education at Villanova. In
1997, they helped develop the system
that would be used to deliver material
via the web. Though not the first to
offer a fully online program, they have
produced online material ever since the
beginning. Since Fall 2005, a full
masters degree is available from the
