• Thanks to the support of the EAS, the Steel Bridge Team has been busy designing and doing calculations for this year’s competition. At the beginning of the spring ‘08 semester, they will be purchasing steel so that fabrication can begin. Further purchases will be made this semester for tools and other construction materials. Additional costs include transportation/room and board for the competition which is the first weekend in April. We wish them luck in the competition!
• Ameer Jones, Stephanie McDermott, and Vanessa Sykes have been announced as the recipients of the Engineering Alumni Scholarships for 2007-2008
