Here's Why!
"Hi Dr. Weinstein,
I took your nanomaterials class last spring in case you needed a
'name-reminder'. I really enjoyed your class, it was one of my favorite
science classes, and the only engineering class that I took. Being a
chemistry major I figured that my chemistry classes would be the most
directly useful - but I was wrong. I am working at DuPont in Wilmington in R
& D and have used pretty much everything I learned in your class (I've had
to use all of the surface tension apparatus and surfactant information) I am
working with protecting solutions - mainly fluorinated surfactants. I just
wanted to let you know how much your class interested me and is now
literally paying off (in both money and experience, who'd of thought)..."
Cheers,
Rebecca Chappel
