Structural Engineering Courses

A student concentrating in Structural Engineering must satisfactorily complete:

  • A minimum of two courses from the Structural Design group, including CEE 8435 Reinforced Concrete or CEE 8437 Structural Steel
  • A minimum of two courses from the Mechanics & Analysis group
  • CEE 8434 Structural Dynamics

Students shall construct the remainder of their plan of study from the courses listed in the four areas below. A student may select appropriate additional courses outside the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering with the approval of the advisor. Course descriptions may be found in the university catalog. A table of the scheduled course offerings is also available.
