The Communication Systems Engineering Concentration covers communication theory, communication electronics, digital communications, and satellite communications needed to design and implement systems for diverse applications including space and satellite communications, data communications, telecommunications, and computer communications.
Concentration Requirements
Requirements for the Communication Systems Engineering Concentration include four required courses and an elective course from the indicated list of courses. Students electing this concentration are expected to have a background in digital signal processing equivalent to ECE 8231.
