A Capstone Senior Design project allows students to apply what they have learned to a challenging project and to learn the essential aspects of project engineering and management.

Throughout junior and senior years, students are challenged with various design project problems. The Capstone Senior Design project provides the opportunity for students to work in a real world environment in design teams.

The Capstone Senior Design project covers three semesters and involves student teams working on various real world problems that allow students the opportunity to display their skills.

Some recent topics of the Capstone projects have been

• Autonomous Warehouse Robotic Firefighters
• Fiber Optic Computer Communication Link and
• Electric Vehicle Battery Monitoring System

ECE DAY

ECE Day is a day held Spring and Fall semester when Engineering students, faculty, alumni and many friends gather at Villanova to discuss interesting technologies, student projects and careers.
