The Department of Mechanical Engineering is seeking to hire an outstanding individual with strong fundamentals in areas related to energy. Possible focus areas include fuel cells, solar energy and sustainability; however, applications in all related areas will be considered. Qualified candidates will be considered at all levels. Required are a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field, a commitment to teaching excellence and innovation, and a strong potential to develop an externally funded research program. Starting date is Fall 2010.

Facilities include state-of-the-art research and instructional laboratories in all the traditional disciplines as well as emerging areas.
