Human Powered Vehicle

Human Powered Vehicle team rode off on their hand-made bike with
second place in both the Men’s and Women’s Drag Race Competition at the
American Society of Mechanical Engineers’ annual Human Powered Vehicle
Challenge held at Indianapolis Motor Speedway in April. The team also
took second place in the Endurance Competition and placed sixth overall
at the event. Team designers included Mechanical Engineering seniors
Kristopher Doll, Jeffrey Bell, Garrett Olsen, and Peter Bruno. Riders
included Garret Olsen ME ’11, Amanda Delcore MSSE ’11, Cameron Piper ME
’14, and Scott Harris, ME ’12. Their advisor is Dr. LeRoy Alaways,
Visiting Assistant Professor. |
