ESC Board Members
The executive board members for the 2007-2008 academic year are listed below. We look forward to many exciting events from the College of Engineering Student Organizations.

 

Currently holding the seat

President

Joe Pawelczyk is a Junior Mechanical Engineer minoring in mechatronics and mathematics. He is involved in Formula SAE and is part of the Villanova Engineering Inventor’s Club. Joe is also a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars.

Vice President

Mateus Santos is a Junior Electrical Engineer from Flemington, NJ, pursuing a concentration in Biomedical Engineering with minors in mechatronics and mathematics. He is also part of many organizations on campus such as: SGA and START. Coming from Brazil, Matt carries with him the passionate South American culture, providing a different way of thinking about things.

Secretary

Mara Tsudis is a Sophomore Chemical Engineer from Pittsburgh, PA. On campus she is a member of the acapella group the Villanova Sirens as well as a member of Alpha Phi. She enjoys participating in intramural sports including basketball, flag football and dodge ball.

Treasurer

Cailtlin Kiernan is a Sophomore Civil Engineer from Allentown, PA.

Committee Coordinator

Becky Ferenchiak is a Sophomore Chemical Engineer from Chatham, NJ.

Webmaster

Teague O'Brien is a Junior Mechanical Engineer from West Chester, PA. He has a passion for high performance cars and motorcycles and also enjoys working on cars and riding dirt bikes. He is also a Philadelphia sports fan and plays intramural soccer at Villanova.

SGA Senator

Maggie McLaughlin is a Junior Chemical Engineer from Wilkes-Barre, PA. She has played an active role in the ESC the past two years serving as the freshman executive and currently the council treasurer. Maggie is also very involved in other organizations on campus, including the Society of Women Engineers, Engineers Without Borders, Special Olympics, Rays of Sunshine, and the Pre-Law Society.
