Follow the steps below for software installation.

1. When you see the "New Program Available" bubble in your task bar, there is new software available to install. You may double click on the bubble to show the new programs available to you (Proceed to Step 5). If you closed this bubble or did not see it, you can proceed to the following step.
   
   
    
2. Click the Windows Start button at the bottom left of your screen and select Control Panel.
   
   
    
3. If your Control Panel looks like the one below, click Switch to Classic View in the upper left-hand corner - otherwise continue with Step 3.
   
   
    
4. From the Control Panel double-click Run Advertised Programs.
   
   
    
5. When the window opens, you will see all of the applications currently available for your system. Select the software you wish to install (one at a time) and push the Run button. Wait for one installation to complete before starting another. If you jumped to this step from Step 1, the screen will look slightly different but will act the same way.
   
   

*The estimated download time is listed for a 28.8kbps modem. Your download time will be significantly shorter (usually under 15 minutes), and the estimated time remaining will adjust as the download progresses.

If you don't see any programs listed, please call or visit the Engineering IT Department to ensure that you have the SMS client installed on your computer.
