Early Action is awarded to exceptional
candidates with outstanding high school records and
correspondingly high SAT or ACT scores. Students admitted to the
Class of 2011 under Early Action were ranked in the first decile of their class and/or had a middle 50 percent GPA
range of 3.77-4.12/4.00. The middle 50 percent of these
accepted Early Action candidates SAT scores ranged from
1340-1430/1600.

Applicants will be evaluated on the
basis of their three-year high school record and scores
on the SAT or ACT taken no later than October of their
senior year.

Submit your Villanova Preliminary Application
for Undergraduate Admission by the preferred filing date
of October 15 or send it along with your completed
Common Application by November 1.

we prefer to receive Preliminary Applications by the
preferred filing dates, we will also process Preliminary
Applications and Common Applications that are
sent or submitted by the appropriate deadlines.
Common Applications sent without or prior to a
Preliminary Application will not be processed. |

For Early Action, the completed
application must be received no later than November 1 of
the senior year.

Early Action selectees will be
notified by December 20. Candidates need not only apply
to Villanova.

Applicants not admitted under Early Action will be
considered under the provision of Regular Decision and
notified in late March.

The Committee on Admission reserves
the right to admit or defer any candidate.

A student who has not applied for
Early Action, but has a completed application submitted
by the appropriate deadline may be accepted under the
provision of Early Action.
