Admission to Villanova is highly competitive. If you have a strong academic
background and a wide variety of interests, and if you are motivated to
contribute to the intellectual and spiritual environment of our University
community, then we encourage you to apply.*
You should plan to take the SAT no later than December of your senior
year and have the results sent directly to the Office of University Admission by
the College Board or ACT.
(ACT scores will be accepted in addition to or in place of the SAT).
The Committee on Admission will carefully consider your credentials and inform you of a decision by April
1. If you are admitted and plan to enroll, you must have your nonrefundable registration
deposit of
$700 to the Office of University Admission
postmarked no later than May 1, 2008.
*Admission criteria may vary slightly contingent upon the college and academic
program to which the candidate applies.
The above applies to prospective first-year students. If you are a Transfer Student, please visit
Admission Overview for Transfer
Students.
