History of Tolentine Hall
Originally called College Hall and later Mendel Hall
this building was severely damaged by fire in January, 1928.
On the site of the destroyed building the present Tolentine
Hall was erected and named after Saint Nicholas of Tolentine,
an Augustinian priest renowned for his ability to touch the
sick, the poor, and the suffering with God's power and
mercy.
