Step 3

Villanova's Office of Financial Assistance verifies all undergraduate applicants for financial assistance.   Through this process we compare information provided on the FAFSA and PROFILE forms to that which students and (in the case of dependent students) parents/stepparents have reported on their tax forms.

Tax forms that are required

Students applying for financial assistance for the 2010-2011 academic year,  must submit the following

§   Signed copies of the student’s 2009 US Federal or Puerto Rico Tax Returns and all schedules (if filed) and all 2009 W-2 and/or 1099 or 1099R forms.

§   Signed copies of parents’/stepparent's 2009 US Federal or Puerto Rico Tax Return and all schedules (if filed) and all 2009 W-2 and/or 1099 or 1099R forms.

The deadline to submit tax returns, W-2 and/or 1099 form is February 1st.  These are to be submitted directly to the Villanova University Office of Financial Assistance.
