Award Statistics

For our current 2006-20007 Freshman class:

  • 97.3% of those who applied for need-based aid were eligible to receive some type of assistance.
  • 82.1% of those eligible for need-based assistance received Villanova Grants for a total of $12 million. The average Villanova Grant award was $18,000.
  • The average assistance package for students with demonstrated financial need (combining grants, scholarships, loans and student employment) was $24,186.

Overall:

  • 62.9% of all matriculating undergraduates receive some type of assistance.
  • For 2006-2007 Villanova University committed over $31 million of its resources for grant aid to undergraduate students.
