SUMMER Student Caller-Phonathon Program

POSITIONS AVAILABLE: 20WAGE: up to $8.10/hr.HOURS/WEEK: 9
DESCRIPTION: Call alumni, parents & friends in order to gain financial support. The Annual Fund supports internships, study abroad, financial aid, scholarships and more. You are required to ask people for money during the call so you must be comfortable doing so.
REQUIREMENTS: Work May-August. Good communication skills & being able to be persistent during calls are key. Must work 3 shifts per week. Hours flexible.

DESCRIPTION: Assume the role of a "patient." Trained to portray a patient scenario or situation using simulated history & physical exam findings to assist in education of undergrad nursing students. Provide feedback about scenario.
REQUIREMENTS: Must participate in 4 hrs. of training & have completed a minimum of one Communication course (COM 1000 or 1101) and/or one acting/theatre course or EMS experience. Work shift: Primarily Monday and Wednesday - 8:30 am - 12:30 pm or 12:30 pm - 4:30 pm.
