Academic Programs - Open Houses
Gather information on any of our affordable adult
programs at the
Graduate and Part-time Undergraduate
Open House
on Tuesday, March 10th. Attendees can have
their application fees waived, tour campus, attend seminars
and speak with faculty.

The Division of Part-Time Studies (PTS) serves adult
students. Students can choose Fast-Forward, accelerated
courses which start mid-semester or traditional or on-line
courses which lead to certificates and degrees, such as our
newest interdisciplinary degree in Media and Technology.

Recruiting and Internships
Villanova Career Services invites you to participate in
a Graduate Business Talent Finder Fair on
Wednesday, February 18th at the Union League. Villanova
also is hosting a
Non-Profit Career Fair
with idealist.org on Thursday, March 26th
at Villanova. Employers can meet with representatives
of many area colleges, as well as candidates from across the
Delaware Valley.
The Chester County Economic Development Council is seeking
employers who wish to post internships for HS and college
students through a new initiative and the website
myinternshipgopher.
You can also use the services of
Campus Philly
which is hosting an on-line Internship Fair
from February 16th - 27th.
Development Opportunities
March Madness arrives early
in Continuing Studies!! This office provides corporate
on-site training and certifications to meet the needs of a
variety of professions. Six programs start in March:
Treasury Management, Internal Audit, Supply Chain
Management, Management Accounting, Paralegal Studies and the
Essentials of Human Resources. Additionally our upcoming
Project Management seminars can help prepare you for the
last chance to take the PMBOK III exam
before the new Body of Knowledge changes in June.
James Kane, our new Director of Continuing Studies, is
planning new courses for next year and would welcome
your input, particularly any interest in adding the
Global Certification in HR (GPHR) or the American
Payroll Association (FPC or CCP) certification to your

The GVFHRA,
"Hot Topics In HR"
half-day seminar is being hosted by Villanova Outreach
Office on Thursday, February 26.
The University is hosting a
Technology Fair
highlighting numerous vendors and the technologies utilized
on campus. The public is encouraged to attend on
Thursday, March 12th (10:00 & 3:00) to enjoy
presentations and to try to win the door prizes!
The Villanova School of Business will host the Regional
Workforce and Beyond, summit on March 19th, 12:45–5:00
p.m. at Villanova. This economic summit,
co-sponsored by the National Association for Business
Economics (NABE) and Select Greater Philadelphia, will focus
on labor issues and policies for the Pennsylvania-New
Jersey-Delaware region. The keynote speaker will be Mark
Schweiker, President and CEO of the Greater Philadelphia
Chamber of Commerce. A cocktail reception to follow. For

International Conference on
Sustainability
on April 23, 24, & 25. Don't miss our special guest

bio-fuels!

The College of Engineering is now offering a graduate
certificate
in
Sustainable Engineering which will have the
option of expanding into a full masters degree. The
College also offers several graduate degrees on-line and at
the Philadelphia Naval Shipyard.
