Transcript Requests

 

The official transcript is Villanova University's official statement of your academic record. It lists all courses completed and all grades earned, along with the semester in which each was received. The official transcript also contains notations of majors, minors, degrees and graduation honors received.

For your protection, we will not release an official transcript without your permission and signature. The official transcript is printed on security sensitive paper and contains the University seal and signature of the University Registrar. There is no charge for transcripts.

How to Request a Transcript

On Line:

    Current Students and Visiting Students can access the on-line transcript request form via the Student tab on the myNOVA portal.

  •      Log into myNOVA
  •      Select the Student tab
  •      From the My Schedule and Registration channel, select Order a Transcript   
  •      From the menu items select either the option to Request a Transcript to be mailed or Request a transcript to be picked up.

    Alumni and Former Students with initial enrollment since 1998 can submit a transcript request on-line via NOVASIS*.

    Alumni and Former Students with initial enrollment prior to 1998 please complete a Transcript Request Form** and forward to the Office of the Registrar.

In Person: Current and former students may order official transcripts in person from the Office of the Registrar (Tolentine 203). 

By Email: Print complete, scan and email a Transcript Request Form** to registrar@villanova.edu.

By Fax: Print, complete, and fax a Transcript Request Form** to 610-519-4033.  Note that transcripts cannot be distributed by fax.

By Mail: Print, complete, and mail a Transcript Request Form** to Office of the Registrar, Tolentine 203, Villanova University, Villanova, PA 19085.

** Please remember to SIGN the Transcript Request Form.   We cannot honor requests that do not bear the student's signature.

 Transcript Pick-up and Delivery Information

Students who have requested the pick-up option may report to the Office of the Registrar, Tolentine 203.   Transcripts are typically printed and made available for pick up three times daily Monday - Friday at 9:00 AM, 12:00 noon and 3:00 PM.   Holiday and grading schedules may alter the usual pick-up schedule.   This will be noted on the home page of the Office of the Registrar.  Office hours are 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.   Transcripts will be released only to the student requesting the transcript with a valid photo ID.

Standard delivery of transcripts is by First Class US Postal Service mail. All address information should be double-checked to insure accuracy and completeness. We cannot accept responsibility for non-delivery if the address provided to us is either incomplete or incorrect. We cannot accept responsibility for delivery by the United States Postal Service or timely processing by the recipient.

View Transcripts and Transcript Request Status

Current and former students with initial enrollment since 1998 who have PINs to access the secure area of NOVASIS* can view a transcript or check on the status of a transcript request.

*Note:  Current and visiting students with access to the myNOVA portal can access NOVASIS directly from their student tab.   Select the NOVASIS link from the NOVASIS channel and you will be directed to a list of menu items.  Select the Student & Financial Aid tab, select Student Records and then select the menu items to View Academic Transcripts or Review Status of Transcript Requests.
