The 2008 Conference of the Association for Student Affairs at Catholic
Colleges and Universities (ASACCU) will be held July 23-26, 2008, at Villanova
University in suburban Philadelphia. The theme for this year's conference is
Educating with Purpose, Transforming Hearts and Minds. The Host
committee is finished accepting program proposals for the 2008 Conference.
How to Submit a Program:
1. Pick
Your Topic
Look to this year's conference theme to guide you, as well as our 2008
Conference Goals:
- Promote an understanding of the rich Catholic intellectual tradition and
its relevance for students affairs professionals
- Share tools, resources, and best practices for building and sustaining
programs that support student learning within the context of Catholic higher
education
- Enrich the integration of faith and reason for our diverse student
populations through co-curricular opportunities, and
- Build community among student affairs professionals who work at Catholic
Institutions

2. Plan
Your Proposal
Proposals should include:
- The program title
- Names, titles, and institutional affiliation of presenters
- Contact information, including email address, of primary presenter(s)
- Description of program (including purpose and rationale) in 300 words or
less
- Method of program presentation (group discussion, panel, lecture, etc)
- Primary intended audience (professionals new to Catholic Higher
Education, seasoned professionals, all, etc.)
- Any audio-visual needs
3. Submit Your Proposal through our on-line Proposal Form
Complete the online Proposal Form by March 31, 2008.

Primary presenters will be notified via email by April 15, 2008 (has been
extended) of the
