Greetings from Villanova University!
We are pleased that the 2010 Reading First
Summer Institute will be held on our campus. We want to make sure that your
experience at the Institute, whether commuting to the sessions or residing in
the Gallen Hall Apartments is a successful one.
Parking Information
All participants should be sure to place your parking permit sheet on
your dashboard. Please see below to print the appropriate pass in advance.
- Additional Information for Residents: Parking for residents
during the Institute is in the Gallen Hall Parking area and for sessions (if
driving is needed, in the Main Parking Lot at Lancaster and Ithan). All
residents should print the Campus West Parking Pass and bring with
you.
- Additional Information for Commuters: Park in the Main
Parking Lot on Lancaster and Ithan (do not park in spaces designated for SEPTA
transit parking - very visible). All commuters should print the Main Lot
Parking Pass and bring with you.
Registration/Check-In
- For Residents (living in Gallen Hall):
Check-in will be between 12-3 pm on Sunday, June 27 in the Gallen Hall Lobby - Information about
the accommodations is listed in the link above. If you bring a TV, remember to
bring a coaxial cable.
- For Commuters (not living in Gallen
Hall): DO NOT REGISTER IN GALLEN HALL: Do register in
CEER 101 from 7:00 -8:00 AM on Monday, June 28 (see Campus Map link above).
Additional Information
- Meals: Lunches for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and a
Tuesday night celebration dinner will be provided for all
participants. Breakfast and Dinners will be provided for residents only.
- ACT 48 Credit: Reading First
expects attendance at all meetings for ACT 48 hours. This is a valuable professional development opportunity
for you as a professional and much planning and expense has gone into its
implementation.
