To inspire a renewed dedication to proclaiming the Gospel, Pope Benedict announced a special Jubilee Year to the Apostle Paul from June 28, 2008 to June 29, 2009, on the occasion of the bi-millennium of Paul’s birth, which historians have placed between the years 7 and 10 AD.

In support of this declaration and in collaboration with the universal church, Villanova University announces a year long celebration of the Jubilee Year Dedicated to the Apostle Paul. It will be an especially important year with regard to envisioning a future enlightened by St. Paul's imagination and to retrieving the power of his letters for today.
