Dell Computer Hardware Agreement

About the Contract

Dell is Villanova's preferred vendor for computer hardware and is supported by UNIT. As a result of Villanova University and Dell's partnership, all purchases for computer systems must be processed through Dell. Equipment not in compliance with this policy will not be supported by UNIT and may be returned to the vendor. This policy pertains to: computers, monitors and servers. Dell also offers excellent pricing for a variety of peripherals and is the recommended vendor.

All computer orders over $2,500.00 must be approved by UNIT and the Procurement Department and must be purchased through a Banner or NOVASIS Requisition. Please refer to our Policy for Purchasing Dell Computer Equipment, over $2,500.00 on the Procurement Card for more information.

About the Vendor

Ordering Information

New Users please fill out the Dell New Account Activation form to set up your account with Dell.

Dell offers three ways to make purchases.

1. Shopping on your own

Dell standard orders under $2,500.00 may be purchased by using the Villanova Procurement Card and shopping on the Dell Premier Website. Please visit our Dell Premier Page instructions for more detail. All purchases must be pre-approved by your Department Head and Budget Administrator prior to placing any orders.

2. Assistance from UNIT with an E-Quote and placing your order using your Procurement Card.

3. Assistance from UNIT with an E-Quote and placing your order using a Requisition through Banner or NOVASIS.

PLEASE NOTE: ONLY access Dell through the Dell Premier Website. Going to the Dell Premier Website is the ONLY way to receive Villanova's extraordinary pricing. You will not receive Villanova's discount pricing through Dell's consumer site.
