Opposite the walkway on the gospel side of the Main Chapel are 10 side chapels or shrines dedicated to various patron saints and holy persons of importance to the Order. Each contains a marble altar and walls, a tabernacle, and a relief statue of the subject set in front of a background of gold tiles and flanked on either side by stained glass windows containing symbols and scrolls related to the subject.

All altars, statues and mosaics are the work of the Angelo Lualdi Studios of Florence, Italy.
