The word Academy, chiseled and
etched in gold above the front doorway of Alumni Hall, testifies to a time
when few youngsters graduated from public schools.
It also stands as a reminder that this building once housed both
the Villanova College and Tolentine Academy. (Photograph by Peter Finger,
