| Goals |
The College of Nursing, Villanova University, in 1990 articulated nine
objectives or goals for the next ten years; these were approved by the faculty
of the College in 1991. In 1992, with the publication of Villanova University's
Strategic Plan: A Future of Promise, these nine goals were deemed to be
congruent with the University's institutional mission and initiatives. They provide the framework for the action blueprint of the College's
Strategic Plan with the seven strategic initiatives.
- To serve the health needs of society through the education of
competent nurses prepared at the undergraduate and graduate levels and through
the provision of continuing education for practicing nurses.
- To enhance the intellectual life and scholarly productivity of the
College of Nursing.
"My time here at Villanova has truly given me the tools to continue growing into the kind of person I have always wanted to be, and as a Villanova graduate and a Presidential Scholar, I have a calling to bring the spirit and mission of Villanova wherever the wind takes me."
