Held each May during the weekend of Villanova University's Commencement
activities, the College of Nursing Convocation honors undergraduate and graduate
students. The faculty leads a procession of students, the Dean offers remarks, a
graduate and undergraduate student address their classmates, distinguished
achievements in both programs are recognized, awards are presented, degree
candidates are recognized individually and students are welcomed into the
Nursing Alumni Society. Convocation concludes with
the singing of the alma mater.
Among the awards bestowed upon the degree candidates are:
