The Research Symposium is a public forum for Villanova nursing faculty, graduate students, and undergraduate students, as well as nurses from the community to share research experiences, disseminate study findings and network with colleagues.

The annual event, held each spring, brings together a diverse group of nursing and health care professionals with the goal of improving patients' lives and health care delivery. Nurses and nursing students are encouraged to submit abstracts and participate in the symposium through their attendance, presentations or posters. The Research Symposium is co-sponsored by Villanova University College of Nursing Center for Nursing Research, the Continuing Education in Nursing and Health Care Program, and the Alpha Nu Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International, nursing's honor society.
