Omani cultural attaché visits College of Nursing students

Villanova, PA, May 18, 2009 — On April 6, 2009, the College of Nursing welcomed the Cultural Attaché from the Sultanate of Oman, Dr. Asya al-Lamki, who was visiting from the Omani embassy in Washington, D.C. The College enjoys a 15-year collaborative relationship with Oman. More than 100 Omani nurses have earned their bachelor or master’s degree in nursing at the College. This focus of this partnership is to educate the nurses of Oman as they ready themselves to replace expatriates and assume clinical, academic and administrative positions in the country.
