In this Case Management Administration concentration, we prepare nurses to
manage and coordinate care and services for clients, using the best resources
available within a cost containment framework. Our case management graduates are
employed in HMO’s, disability management companies, insurance companies, clinics
and ambulatory settings, and community agencies.
In 1993, the College of Nursing received a three-year grant from the Division
of Nursing, U.S. Public Health Service to develop a Clinical Case Management
track. This was the first program of its kind in the country to prepare case
managers.
