The
stimulating programs that meet the needs of today’s nurse and tomorrow’s health
care system reflect the quality of the College of Nursing’s faculty. Learn from
these doctorally-prepared, acclaimed nursing leaders. Many have served as
consultants on national advisory committees, commissions, and accrediting
bodies. Others have served as international consultants and educators in such
far-reaching areas as Oman, Jordan, Kenya, and the Philippine Islands.
Our faculty have a variety of research interests and have published widely in
national and international journals. They are frequently called upon to present
their research findings to audiences around the world. All of our clinical
faculty are certified registered nurse practitioners and certified registered
nurse anesthetists. Our faculty, well-respected for their areas of
specialization, lead the graduate classes and collaborate with students on a
daily basis.
“The professors here are excellent mentors who are
both expert in their subject areas and caring towards their students.”

Faculty share their expansive knowledge and experience through:
- Academic Advisement
Advisement is a careful, deliberate process of consultation regarding course
of study, career development, and trends in health care. You will be
assigned an academic advisor upon acceptance into our Graduate Program. You
may wish to meet with one of our academic advisors prior to application to
discuss the program options and curriculum. Appointments can be arranged by
calling 610.519.4934.
- Personalized Attention
Seminar class sizes are kept small enough for individual growth and
attention, but large enough for exposure to diverse ideas and strategies.
