Welcome to the College of Nursing and a career as a professional nurse. The
College of Nursing is proud of its reputation as a National League for Nursing
Center of Excellence in Nursing Education; our undergraduate program is a large
part of that reputation. We have been educating baccalaureate students for over
50 years, and our graduates hold key positions in nursing practice, education
and research.
Our undergraduate curricula are designed to meet the needs of several distinct
groups of students. Our basic curriculum is designed for high school graduates
without prior college credits and is eight semesters in length; the majority of
our students enter this curriculum. Our alternate sequence curriculum is
designed for transfer students with prior college credits; most students
complete the program in four semesters plus one summer. Our
accelerated
curriculum is specifically designed for persons with a baccalaureate degree in
another field; the program is 14 months in length. Our BSN/MSN Gateway Program for Registered Nurses is designed for registered nurses with a diploma or associate degree to
earn a bachelor’s degree in nursing. You can find further information about each
program as well as contact email addresses and telephone numbers by using the
links on this page. We hope you will enjoy the website and contact us to learn
more about Villanova and an exciting career as a Villanova nurse.
