The Alternate Sequence Curriculum BSN Program for college graduates, transfers
and adult learners is a two year program arranged in the traditional semester
format. The program begins in August of each year and ends in August two years
later. The student takes nursing coursework over four semesters and one summer
session.
The Alternate Sequence Curriculum BSN Program
offers more time for outside activities:
- Employment in a clinical setting
- Participation in campus and community
activities
- Additional coursework

Students interested in this program
option are also encouraged to submit copies of their college transcripts well in
advance of their planned entrance into the program to allow for complete
evaluation, transfer of credits and appropriate advisement. Upon successful
completion, the student will receive a BSN degree and will be qualified to take
the National Nursing Certification Examination (NCLEX) for licensure as a
Registered Nurse.

This program is approved by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing and fully
accredited by the National League for Nursing Accreditation Commission and the
Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education.
