Nina Tamanini is a 2004 graduate of our Alternate Sequence Curriculum. She was glad to have this program as an option. Why? “I liked the alternate program because it gave me the opportunity to achieve a BSN without having to go back for four more years of school,” she explains. “I feel that the program prepared me fully for my career as a nurse. Villanova gave me the opportunity to go to a birthing center in Weslaco, Texas as a means of fulfilling clinical requirements. It was a great experience!”

Tamanini also recognizes the quality of the faculty. She observes, “Each faculty member was excellent! They went out of their way to help students, both as a group and as individuals. Going back to school or changing your major is a very difficult decision to make. The alternate program at Villanova makes the transition as smooth as possible.”
