PDA / Pocket PC - FAQ

How do I connect my PDA to my computer?
Click here for instructions in PDF format for connecting your PDA.

Why do I receive a low battery error on my PDA?
The Dell Axim X3 has a rechargeable backup battery. The backup battery low message is a reminder that the battery needs to be recharged. To recharge the backup battery, connect the PDA to an AC power source such as a cradle or an AC power adapter.

Are there any guidelines I need to follow to in the use of my PDA?
Yes. Villanova has specific Standards & Guidelines governing the use of PDAs, as well as ethical conduct, wireless, access, copyright policies and license agreements.

What should I do if my PDA freezes up?
If your PDA stops responding, try resetting the device. This procedure will normally take care of any problems. Please go to the Service section of this site for directions for resetting and/or if you need further technical assistance.
