Course instructor will provide students with the website address and group code to purchase the full versions of selected software.  Directions to download the limited trial software version are as follows:

How to install Epocrates on your iPhone

To download Epocrates Rx free software to your iPhone or iPod touch, follow these simple steps:

  1. Open the App store, select Search at the bottom and enter Epocrates in the search box.
  2. Tap the Get App button.
  3. Tap the Install button.
  4. Enter iTunes user ID and password (these are different from your Epocrates username and password).
  5. Return to your iPhone home screen and tap on the Epocrates icon.
  6. Enter your Epocrates username and password (Both are case sensitive), then tap on "Continue installation."
  7. Allow the update to complete.

How to install Epocrates on your BlackBerry

To download Epocrates Rx free software to your BlackBerry, follow these simple steps:

  1. Open the web browser on your BlackBerry.
  2. Navigate to the following web address *:
    http://get.epocrates.com
  3. Select the "Install Now" button on-screen.
  4. Follow the instructions that are displayed on the BlackBerry
  5. If you are asked to reboot at any time, please be sure to reboot.
  6. Enter your Epocrates username and password when prompted, and select "Continue Installation"

How to install Epocrates on your Windows Mobile Device

  1. Ensure your device is connected to your pc via the sync cable or cradle.
  2. Visit www.epocrates.com and click on the "My Account" in the top right.
  3. Sign in with your Epocrates username, if needed.
  4. Click the "Download" button.
  5. Continue until you see the "Installation Options" page. Use the "Cable Install" option and click the "Continue" button.
  6. At the "Download and Installation" page, click the red " Begin Download" button and follow the on-screen instructions.

Upgrading Device Memory

It is recommended that students upgrade the memory to allow the installation of required software directly to a media card to free up space and increase performance of their PDA/mobile devices.  Directions to upgrade memory on a Blackberry and a video are available.

Click Options > Status - Check the "File Free" status and "File Total" status.

Click Options > Media Card - Check "Total Space" and "Free Space" values.
