Legion Education Program source book entitled Need a Lift? lists
educational opportunities, careers, loans, scholarships and employment
opportunities. There is a supplement on Nursing Financial Assistance
included. This publication is available in the Learning Resource Center.

The Federal Educational and
Scholarship Funding Guide primarily lists grant programs
available to states and institutions, but may be beneficial to the
individual student. It is available in the office of the Director of the
Undergraduate Program.

and Human Services Bureau of Health Care Delivery and Assistance, Public
Health Service, Health Resources and Services Administration,
Rockville, MD 20857, 1-800-221-9393. The agency provides financial
assistance to nursing students via the National Health Service Corps (NHSC)
and Indian Health Service (IHS) Scholarships to cover tuition and
subsistence expense.
