Lost and Found Auction
On Sept. 25, 2008, the Department of Public Safety held its annual Lost and Found Auction in the parking lot of Farrell Hall. Each Fall, Public Safety gathers items that have been turned in to lost and found during the previous academic year. Many popular items, such as cell phones, calculators, and bicycles, helped to draw in of $1,100 this year. The funds raised this year will be donated to Campus Ministry Habitat for Humanity and Mission Honduras.

Approximately 80 percent of items turned into the Department of Public Safety Lost and Found are returned to the owner within a short period of time. Auctioning unclaimed items is a way for Public Safety to clear out the lost and found area as well as contribute to charitable organizations.
The Department of Public Safety would like to remind members of the Villanova community to check with the lost and found department if they have lost something by calling 610-519-6979. We just might have what you’ve been looking for!
