Typically, Community Service Officers function as a patrol officer. Additionally, the community service officer works proactively, interacting with Villanova community members in a manner that establishes positive relationships. Community Service Officers provide crime prevention presentations to faculty, staff, and student members of the community informing them of the many valuable programs the Department offers. Community Service Offers work closely with members from the Office for Residence Life in an effort to enhance experiences of residence hall students.
