comments:  Bring back the mozzarella sticks please!  They are delicious and I know a lot of people are disappointed that they have been removed from the late night menu!

We Responded:

A new, trans fat free, mozzarella stick has been sourced and is now available in the Belle Air Terrace.

comments:  What foods can be bought from 2nd story using your MPE? If I can swipe a MPE I think it should be able to be applied to everything in 2nd storey.

We Responded:

Thank you for using our online Speak Out card.

We opened up the Meal Plan Express program in the two convenience stores based on student feedback and understanding that only prepared foods from the deli areas, including sandwiches and salads from the grab and go case would be eligible for purchase.

Since 2000 this has been a very successful program for us, giving students great flexibility on their meal plan.  As you are aware, convenience foods are expensive, particularly toiletries and book store supplies. Our meal plan program is designed for students to enjoy the majority of their meals in the all-you-care-to-eat dining halls and the meal plan pricing structure follows according to this anticipated dining pattern. With 5,000 students on meal plans, we have to be very careful in allowing options that would add tremendous expense to the meal plan program.  Students I speak to enjoy this option compared to not having MPE access to our convenience stores.

We also offer MPE at the Holy Grounds in CEER, Connelly and Bartley with a two bottled beverage limit per meal plan purchase for similar reasons.
