Professional and quality stationary often is the first line of communication that people receive from the University. Whether it is a letter from the Dean or a letter accepting an incoming freshman, it is important to the image of the University that our letterhead is printed on a high quality, recycled cotton content paper using our standard colors. Additionally, it is important that the colors are consistent with each print run. Graphic Services understands this and as such we are the sole provider of business communication items for the University. We have the templates ready to go and can make any corrections necessary. We can also imprint on letterhead for you using your word files or variable printed mail merged documents in one press run. This saves time and money for everyone.

Letterhead. Letterhead is customarily 8 ½ x 11” and printed on 24# bond paper containing 25% cotton and 30% post consumer waste. Our standard colors are PMS 281 and PMS 871 Metallic gold.

Envelopes. Envelopes are available in both plain and window styles and are available to match the letterhead. As a cost saving measure, standard envelope orders do not print on cotton content paper but are available to match. Ask us about it.

Notepads. Notepads come in two standard sizes, 8 ½ x 5 ½ and 4 ¼ x 5 ½ and are padded 100 sheets per pad. Generally, printing is done in blue ink on 20# white paper. Ask us about a custom ordered notepad.

Business Cards. Standard issue business cards are only available through Graphic Services, similar to the letterhead. Assurances are made to see that color and logo appearance are consistent throughout multiple orders and adhere to the Style Guidelines set by the University. The thermography printing process is used on most business cards. This process melts the ink which raises the type from the paper, giving the printing the look and feel you commonly see on business cards.

To place an order please send a printed sample, if available, and a work request form containing the following information:

  • Quantity.
  • Blue and Gold or Blue only Printing (for stationary orders).
  • Envelope Size and Style (i.e., #10 plain, #10 window, #9, remittance, etc.).
  • Copy of Information to be printed - Please indicate if the order is new or a reprint. If you are reprinting, please mark any changes directly on the sample you are submitting.
