The purpose of the mail services department at Villanova is to provide all resident students as well as all academic and administrative departments with a reliable facility to handle all of their mailing needs and to support the University in its endeavors by providing efficient and cost effective mailing and shipping solutions. The Mail Services office in Kennedy hall serves all of the University Faculty and Staff as well as students residing on main and south campus. West campus resident students are served by a satellite office in St. Mary's Hall.

Villanova's Mail Services department handles over 4.5 million pieces of incoming mail per year and approximately 1.7 million pieces of intra campus mail. In order to ensure that mail is delivered correctly and in a timely manner correct addressing is essential. All Student mail must be addressed to a box number and all mail to faculty or staff must have a department name included in the address.

UPS delivers daily to the student mailrooms as well as to some individual departments, Federal Express & DHL deliver to the mailrooms only. In order to ensure that these items are delivered without delay it is important again to use box numbers for students and department names as well as building names and room numbers for faculty and staff.
