Visions Program

The VISIONS Program was established to provide a sponsorship/mentoring program for undergraduate international students using Villanova University upper-class students.

VISIONS is intended to: create a personal student-to-student link; enhance an international student’s reception into the Villanova community; make an international student’s first year more rewarding and more memorable; forge lasting friendships; expose Villanova students to the global community.

VISIONS sponsors will be volunteers from the sophomore, junior and senior class.  Although not necessary, it would helpful if sponsors reside on campus.

VISIONS training will be provided by the Director of International Students, the Admissions Office and the Dean of Students, and will be scheduled in mid-April.   During this training session, sponsors will be provided suggestions, ideas, and guidelines to assist them in developing a rewarding and meaningful program for both the international student and themselves.

VISIONS will attempt to match each sponsor with an international student by gender and college.
