The Office of Health Promotion offers programs for a variety of audiences focused on health issues facing the Villanova community. All programs are interactive and facilitated by trained peer educators or professional staff members.

Below is a list of the programs currently presented by POWER.  If you would like a program on a specific topic not listed here, we may be able to tailor the program or discussion to address you needs.

Programs may be scheduled for a Greek Organization, Athletic Team, Campus Organization, Residence Floor, or Learning Community.

  • Reverse Mad Libs

    Remember Mad Libs?  Well, this is the great old school game in reverse.  We give you the words and you give us the story!  Let's see if you're up on the terms and slang words related to alcohol and other drugs, sexual assault, and sexual health.  We guarantee everyone will learn something new!

    Suggested audience size:  10 or more.

  • Hot or Not?

    Make the call on who is hot or not in this game about sexual health.  You get your pick from hot studs and beautiful babes.  Disclaimer:  there may be more to your choice than meets the eye.  Looks can be deceiving!

  • Stop Light Game

    Red light, green light?  It's your choice.  Hear the stories, know your limits, and make the call.  What will you do when there's sex, drugs, and alcohol in the mix?

    Suggested audience size:  30 or more.

  • The String Game

    Look at college in another person's shoes and leave with quite a story to tell.  You may leave having a new outlook on alcohol and other drugs, sexual assault, and sexual health.  This program promises to make you think!

  • Goggle Gauntlet

    Put on those beer goggles and learn about the risks of driving under the influence.  We'll provide a safe driving environment for you while you and your friends are at the wheel.  See for yourself how one drink leads to impairment and learn the laws of the roads in PA.

  • Ready for Some Football?

    Hut, hut, hike!  Show us your moves on the field and impress us with what you know about sexual health, sexual assault, and substance safety.  Will your pass be intercepted or lead to a touchdown!  Be ready to rumble!

  • So College...

    Be a wallflower as we show you how this party unfolds.  Did she say that?  Did he really do that?  How often does this really happen?  An interactive and sometimes heated debate follows the performance.  Hollywood hasn't got a thing on us!

  • Speed Dating

    Play the role of someone else and try to score a date.  The characters you meet could be the man or woman of your dreams.  Will you find the love of your life or the person you'd rather say "next" to?

  • Tic Tac Know

    This isn't your grandma's board game.  See what this family favorite is like when you use people as X's and O's.  Be prepared, some statements about dating and healthy relationships may be a little too close for comfort.
