Villanova EMS will once again offer an Emergency Medical Technician course to those individuals
interested in becoming a Pennsylvania licensed Emergency Medical Technician
(EMT-B). This course will be co-sponsored and instructed by faculty from the
Montgomery County Department of Emergency Services and is open to all individuals, with
preference given to current Villanova EMS members awaiting certification.
Tuition & Fees
The approximate cost of this course is $350.00. This includes the course fees, textbooks, and the required insurance policy for field training. There are no additional fees for testing or certification. Payment is
due at the start of the first scheduled class. An additional fee of $10.00 will be required for a criminal background check, applications and more details will be provided the first night of class.
Location
All classes will be held on Villanova University's main campus located at 800
East Lancaster Avenue in Villanova, Pennsylvania. Classes will be held in Driscoll Hall.

Class Schedule
Classes will be held on Monday and Thursday evenings from 7:00 p.m. until 10:00
p.m. Classes are tentatively scheduled to begin Monday September 10, 2009. Classes will also be held on occasional Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.:
Please note that this class is scheduled to continue through the second semester and will conclude in April 2010.
