Healthcare

The Student Health Center at Villanova University provides a safe, caring, respectful, and confidential environment and advocates healthy behaviors and lifestyle choices by providing ongoing outreach and education tailored to the needs of the individual student. Located on the third floor of the new Health Services Building at the Villanova University main entrance on Ithan Avenue, across from The Pavilion and Bartley Hall, the Health Services Building also houses the Counseling Center and the Health and Wellness Education Office.

Registered nurses are on duty around the clock every day (except during undergraduate vacations). A physician is present every day (Mon. - Sat.) at 8:00 AM and also in the afternoons Tuesday and Thursday. Patients are responsible for prescribed medications and needed consultations. If your condition merits serious attention, you can be transported to Bryn Mawr Hospital.

Other services offered at the Health Center (Infirmary) include allergy injections, blood pressure assessment, lab testing and free pamphlets on many health-related issues.

Please be sure to complete a medical health record form. This form will be kept on file in the Health Center (Infirmary) in order that they can have your health history readily available if and when you need their medical help. Please see us in the International Student Office to obtain a form or to hand in what you have completed.
