
The Center for Multicultural Affairs assists the University in providing all
students an inclusive educational experience founded on Augustinian principles.
The Center for Multicultural Affairs supports the University’s mission of
respecting individual differences and adhering to the principle that mutual love
and respect should animate every aspect of University life. Through the
multi-faceted programs it supports (such as the Freshman Mentoring Program,
Academic Advancement Program, Mentoring Programs, etc.) the Center undertakes
the challenge of creating at Villanova University an academically distinctive,
culturally diverse learning community where all members live empathically and
lead effectively.
The Center for Multicultural Affairs consists of six
major components:
Our Mission Statement The Center for Multicultural
Affairs is dedicated to enriching a
culturally diverse, and academically excellent educational environment
at Villanova University. We seek to cultivate within the Villanova
community a thoughtful respect for individual differences, and an
understanding of our collective responsibility to work for justice and
equity. Students are the core of our mission. To serve our students we
work with all Villanova University constituents. The Center for
Multicultural Affairs seeks to ensure the academic and social success of
all students, particularly those underrepresented at Villanova in terms
of race, ethnicity and family income. We accomplish our mission through
advocacy, diversity education, programming and promoting organizational
awareness and change.
Our Vision Statement The Center for

diverse, academically distinctive learning community, where all members
