College Day Visit

What is College Day?

The Center for Multicultural Affairs College Day is an opportunity for high schools in the greater Philadelphia area to visit Villanova and get the college application wheels turning. Counselors of high schools that are interested in the day event would have to accompany their students and organize what events they would like their students to partake in. The day would typically consist of a student panel discussion, a tour of the University, lunch in one of the University's main Dining Halls and meeting some members of Administration at the University. The weekend is organized and advised by Charisma Presley, Assistant Director of Student Outreach and Diversity Programming in the Center for Multicultural Affairs.

College Weekend Visit

What is College Weekend?

The Center for Multicultural Affairs College Weekend is a rare opportunity given to underrepresented scholars, so that they may be able to explore all that Villanova has to offer. College Weekend is a three day, two night interactive program in which high school juniors and seniors will reside with current students while partaking in SAT prep classes, essay writing classes, and financial aid/admissions presentations. The entire weekend is set up around the goal of properly preparing our juniors and seniors for their higher education decisions. The weekend is ran by two current students co-chairs and advised by Charisma Presley (Assistant Director of Student Outreach and Diversity Programming in the Center for Multicultural Affairs) and a Graduate Assistant of the Center.
