Candidates and Recipients The Committee on Institutional Cooperation (CIC) Directory of Minority, Ph.D,
M.F.A., and M.L.S Candidates and Recipients is published online in an effort to
increase the professional opportunities of minority graduate students and to aid
colleges, universities, and other potential employers in the recruitment of
highly educated under-represented minorities.
CIC: Directory of Women in Science and Engineering First published in 1994, the WISE Directory was initiated to increase the
professional opportunities of women graduates and postdoctoral students at CIC
universities.
CWSE: Database of Women Engineering faculty This site contains the name, institution, field of specialty or department, and
contact information for nearly 1300 women faculty in engineering departments of
U.S. colleges and universities. Where possible, a Web address and link for the
faculty member has also been provided. The information contained in this
database was collected in a 1996 survey of women engineering faculty. Two
hundred and thirty-nine institutions are represented in this database.
Directory of Ford Fellows This directory contains information on Ford Foundation Postdoctoral fellowship
recipients awarded since 1980 and Ford Foundation Predoctoral and Dissertation
fellowship recipients awarded since 1986. The directory was created to serve as
a resource for university officials seeking to diversify their faculty, minority
students looking for mentors and role models, and scholars interested in
establishing collaborative projects.
Minority and Women Doctoral Directory The Minority and Women Doctoral Directory is a registry which maintains
up-to-date information on employment candidates who have recently received, or
are soon to receive, a Doctoral or Master's degree in their respective field
from one of approximately two hundred major research universities in the United
States. The current edition of the directory lists approximately 4,500 Black,
Hispanic, American Indian, Asian American, and women students in nearly 80
fields in the sciences, engineering, the social sciences and the humanities.
Minority Experts Database Minority Experts Database is a database to provide minority organizations,
academic institutions, corporate entities, government agencies, and other
professional organizations with a method of identifying minority professionals
in virtually every academic discipline and profession.
