The Dance Company

The Villanova Dance Co. is a group of extremely dedicated dancers who perform
at various events in and around the Villanova community. Each semester, they
perform their own creative choreography in a showcase for friends and family in
addition to performing at university events such as Special Olympics, St. Thomas
of Villanova Day, Parent's Weekend, and Balloon day. As a team, the dance
company supports the Villanova men and women's basketball programs by dancing
for the 'Nova fans at designated games throughout the season.
In addition to these scheduled performances, the company has begun to compete
nationally. In January 2002 and 2003, a select group from the company has
participated in the Universal Dance Association (UDA) Collegiate Cheer and Dance
Championship. Both seasons proved to be huge accomplishments for this group!
Every year, the team begins to prepare by attending UDA's camp at Rutgers in
August prior to returning to school for their own Villanova Dance Camp. If you
would like information about attending Villanova's Music Camp held for incoming
freshmen interested in dancing at Villanova or interested in joining the Dance
Company please contact us!

Dance Company Web site.
