Music Activities is the place to be if you wish to continue playing, singing, dancing, acting, twirling or various other pursuits under the Music Activities Office umbrella. It is for all students! New students and upperclassmen alike will spend an intensive week preparing for the school year. Music is learned, group officers meet to arrange schedules, lasting friendships are made, and concert and travel plans are made.

Music Camp is a great opportunity to get a head start on college life. Learn your way around campus and buy your books before the lines get unbearably long and, oh yes, perform for a week with other talented Villanovans. For some, this is an opportunity to explore performing organizations that they didn’t have time for in high school. For others, it is a continuation of their musical experience.

The groups are listed below. No experience is necessary with the exception of the instrumental groups. There is no cost to you to participate in Music Camp other than the extra activities (trips, etc. that week) you may choose be involved in. We will arrange for your early housing and meals at no cost.

In 2009, Music Camp begins for new students on Saturday, August 15th and for returning students on August 16th for returning students.  Music Camp runs through Wednesday, August 19th.  Check in for Freshmen will be from 8am - 11am in St. Mary's lobby on Saturday the 15th.   For returning Students, check-in will be from 9am - noon in St. Mary's lobby on Sunday.  All communications and information regarding Music Camp is sent to your Villanova e-mail address.

As in the past, you will be able to move into your regular dorm room the day you arrive. 

Registration for 2009 is now closed.   If you have not already registered, you will not be able to attend Music Camp 2009.
